Project Logistics Specialist to join the BA Minerals Project Logistics team at Metso: Outotec, Espoo. The position is full-time (37,5h per week) with a 6-month fixed-term contract, and you will be employed via Clevry. The start date for this position will be as soon as a suitable candidate has been found.
As a Project Logistics Specialist, you will manage project deliveries in line with the project schedule and budget by collaborating successfully with project teams, customers, suppliers, and external stakeholders. In this role, you have the key role of managing the project logistics together with the global logistics team through daily operational tasks.

Job duties and responsibilities
More specifically your job duties and responsibilities are:
- Planning, managing, and monitoring logistics in equipment delivery projects according to project-specific contractual requirements and corporate processes and guidelines
- Selecting and purchasing logistics services according to corporate sourcing rules
- Managing shipping and transportation schedules according to project delivery schedule and maintaining project specific Logistics Plans
- Managing and driving service levels received by Logistics Service Providers at the project level
- Managing and preparing required logistics and customs clearance documentation
- Supporting L/C invoicing and documentation, whenever applicable
- Supporting Customers in customs issues
- Monitoring and reporting deviations to logistics budget and project delivery schedule
To succeed
To be successful you should have previous related work experience in logistics and project business. You have solid business and industry understanding and relevant education supporting the role. You have knowledge of logistics procedures in international air/sea/road/rail/courier freight and domestic transport. You can organize and prioritize your work and you have excellent time management skills. You have basic technical and IT skills, especially in Office, and you learn new technologies easily.
You have a systematic and hands-on work style and you can work autonomously and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. You can articulate, engage and analyze situations and seek practical solutions to drive positive outcomes. You have strong communication and negotiation skills and good written and verbal communication skills in English. We appreciate it if you are skilled in Finnish, Swedish, and Russian – all additional languages are considered an asset.
